Social Justice
When thinking about social justice and Germany what immediately pops into one’s head is World War II and the Nazi regime. There is no denial that there was social injustice under the Nazi regime with the Holocaust but one often overlooks the impact that the Nazis had German society. The Nazi regime not only had a deep affect on the world stage but, it also had a great impact the German people and its culture.
The Nazi's and Adolf Hitler have left behind a stigma that is attached to German history today. There are some people today who when they look, hear, or read about a modern day Germany think immediately think about Hitler and the Nazis. For example, a German friend once told me that some people who recently meet her asked her about her thoughts and feeling about the Nazi's and Adolf Hitler. She was astounded by their outright questioning and was offended by their approach to the question. What her ancestors may have done over six decades ago does not define the person she is today yet this stigma is still attached to the German society and culture. Nazism was terrible and a mar to German history but it is not the only histoy that German has. More understanding is needed in order to appreciate German culture for all of its rich history, customs, and traditions. This is one example social injustice with German culture and can be changed by opening one's thoughts to different cultures.

Holocaust Education
Although Germany's history is mared by the Holocaust it does not mean that it should be forgotten. It is an example of social injustice, which is now a historical tool that society can use to learn and grow from. Using the video as a guide about the holocaust can help to not just understanding and know but being engaged and evolved in today's social injustices.
